Scalloped Stroll

outfit details
Club Monaco scallop edge trench coat on sale // Gucci Marmont Mini bag // Pink Bow Mules // Kate Spade pansy drop earring // J.Crew sweater // J.Crew Jeans

Clearly outerwear is the theme for the blog this week, as today I am sharing the second coat I bought this season. I have had my eye on this sweet, scalloped trench from Club Monaco and finally snatched it up when it went on sale. The pink color was what I originally had in mind (naturally) but then this soft steely grey won me over once I saw it in person. I love that the scallop edge makes a bold statement without taking away from the timeless, classic vibe of a trench coat. If you are tempted definitely size down as it is very swingy.

At the first sign of spring weather we took full advantage by going for a much longer than usual walk in Central Park. We walked up to the conservatory garden on 105th street which even on peak Saturday afternoon is never crowded. It is my favorite part of the park and I will definitely be back for another trip once it is in full bloom. I felt like I was taking all of my new spring items out to see the light of day. These pink bow mules are on repeat for a reason. They are as comfy as they are cute and the pale pink goes with everything. I am also loving these dainty floral earrings from Kate Spade and have been wearing them to the office nonstop. As you can see, I recently purchased my first designer bag. Without going too in depth – I plan on giving  you a full post on how I decided on such a splurge – I will say it has been a long time love affair and it feels great to finally be mine!
