Statement Swim

Call it denial, but I am keeping up the warm weather theme here on the blog to escape the February dreariness here in New York. Before our trip to Miami, I did extensive online shopping to find a new swim suit for the trip. I love that the trend in bathing suits is moving toward thoughtful, fun, tasteful pieces. While I ended up buying Marysia’s Palm Springs Tie bikini in Coconut, I linked below to a few of my favorite statement suits out at the moment.

In the past a go-to swimwear line was Zinke. Imagine my disappointment when I started shopping for this trip and learned that they folded over a year ago! The piece pictured above is from their line. I love a good statement suit and I think any of the ones linked below would be perfect for upcoming sun-soaked days.

ONE // This lemon print is so fresh and fun! It reminds me of a print I saw on the runway a while back and at a steal of a price.

TWO // The bold geometric cut paired with the bright pink and red makes this one a showstopper.

THREE // A white swimsuit is always a great choice for paler ladies to emphasize any hint of bronze (can I get an amen?).

FOUR // Bold blue and white horizontal stripes are both flattering and fun. What we call a win-win.

FIVE // I love that this neutral colored suit makes a strong statement through the mesh panels. I also think it looks way more expensive than it is!

SIX // A bikini that embraces the off-the-shoulder, ruffle trend for $40 is a bikini for me.

SEVEN // My love of a scallop detail is unending. This rose color tempted me when I tried on my white bikini from their line.

EIGHT // This striped suit has a cute x back that plays well with the pattern and makes the look very sophisticated.

NINE // Gingham and ruffles galore! This would be a darling beach-to-brunch piece if paired with cutoffs or a white skirt.
